Hi, I am Kathy. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter of the King.
I love to write and teach. My constant push against that is my absolute love of crime shows. Binge watching and re-watching is a constant distraction for me.
I have a goofy, clumsy side that is no end of entertainment for my children.
I love my house being filled with my kids and grandkids even in the chaos that is my strength.
But don't be fooled by the flashy website and social media image. I got so many things wrong. I have had to pick myself up so many times. But God has been a faithful guide.
Under my own power and decision I have burnt my entire life to ashes. And then God came in and He took those ashes and built a beautiful life for me.
Momma, I might not know your individual struggle but I know God is the answer. My passion is to share with you all that I learned in the crucible.
The Hurting Church
Beauty from Ashes
Kathy's Call began as a promise to God to follow Him into the battle to save His hurting church.
It is my greatest cry, heartbreak and calling to heal the hurting church. A broken, hurting church is least effective in destroying the works of the devil.
Christ calls us to be mighty warriors in this ultimate battle. Our past hurts, low self-esteem, sins, abuses, addictions, and poor health all detract from this primary calling.
We are a hurting church because we are drawn to the cross in our most vulnerable times but never leave.
This is the greatest sin of all because it does not acknowledge that our King is on the throne.
He lives.
He brings healing, hope and restoration.
A healed church is invincible.
We can storm the gates of the enemy and rescue all who belong to our Christ.
